How to register

The most often used wallets on Sui chain are: Sui Wallet, Ethos Wallet, Suiet, Coin Start, Morphis Wallet, etc

Instructions on how to register for a wallet

We take the register process in Sui wallet as an example:

Step 1: Add Sui Wallet Google Extension to Google Chrome

Search for Sui Wallet on Google:

Click on the first search result:

This link will lead you to Google Store. Click on "Add to Chrome"

Click "Add extension":

Sui Wallet extension is successfully added to Chrome

Step 2: Register for a Sui Wallet

Click on "Get Started":

We are new users, so we click on "Create a New Wallet":

Put in the password of your choice. Select the "I read and agreed to the Terms of Services" down below, and then click " Create Wallet".

Here you can see your recovery phrase. It is composed of randomly generated English words. The recovery phrase is very important!!! It can help you restore your account when you forget the password. Remember to record your recovery phrase, and never let others see it. Anyone who has your recovery phrase gains access to your wallet.

Click "Open Sui Wallet"

Functions in Sui Wallet：

We can see that there are four options below: Coins, NFTs, Apps, and Activity:

The part circled in red is your wallet address. When you make transactions, this address represents your wallet.

Note: In Devnet Testing Period there is chance to win an airdrop of free tokens from Sui Chain. Click on the "Request Devnet SUI Tokens", and you can get 0.05 Sui token free of charge!

The second function is NFTs. It will show the NFTs you have purchased.

In the Apps function, there are two buttons. One is "mint an NFT" ("Mint" in cypto means publish. "Mint an NFT" means publishing your own piece of NFT artwork. Publishing NFT must be done using crypto wallets). The other button is "view account on Sui Explorer." This button will lead you to your account setting webpage on Sui.

The last one is Activity function. All the transactions you made with the wallet will be displayed in this page.

The website after clicking "open sui Wallet" will look like this:

First we look at the Coins function. The part circled in red is the remaining crypto coins you have in your wallet. 0 SUI means you have 0 SUI coin (crypto issued by SUI main net) in your wallet.
